This is the world famous Valkyrie by Carl Goldberg.
HUGE 118" wing span! 73" in length. The elevator is 47" wide and the plane stands 20 inches high at the wing. Power Brown Jr. Wing loading is about 5.87 ozs. per. sq. ft and weight is around 4 lbs. and 12 ozs. One R/C assisted plane flew well with a .40 size engine..
I have scanned the name of the original plan and their is no title block as you can see. The plan was just on the edge of rescuing & restoring and has been saved for the fact that it has been stored rolled in a tube for a good part of its life. There was damage on the old fold lines but I was able to rescue this rare as hens teeth of a plan. I put in 12 days of work just to restore this huge plan. At 10 feet long, there must be seveal hundred feet of lines. I even replaced all the words and numbers. This plan was a total redraw.
My biggest improvement to the plan is to provide you with a seperate right wing to aid you in your building of this awesome plane.
These are high resolution TIFF files and PDF files containing 200 x 200 dots per inch.
One file will print a sheet 36" x 122" and the other sheet will be 36" x 74".

In Old Norse, the word Valkyrjr, means "choosers of the slain". In Viking mythology, the Valkyrie were the nine daughters of Odin. At his wish, they flew their horses over Viking battlefields and choose who would die in the coming battle. After the carnage was over, they returned to the battlefield as a raven and selected the souls of half the warriors who had died an heroic death. (Crows often appeared after a battle to pick at the bodies of the dead.) The Valkyrie carried these souls to Valhalla- Odin's banquet hall in the heavenly realm of Asgard. The remaining heroic souls were taken by a Viking goddess named Freya as she passed over the battlefield in her cat-drawn chariot. The Valkyrie also rode over the sea to snatch dying Vikings from their doomed longships.

Navion
This is my beautiful Navion plane plan, witch, you can build as a civilian plane or a military Ryan L-17B plane. The plan is a modern reproduction of the great Berkeley kit plan of years past. As all kits plans leave lots to be desired as scratch building plans, Berkeley included, a newer updated plan has been produced. This a very nicely scaled plan as you can see.

This is a beautiful plan that is well drawn. I feel greatly honored to be able to restore such a fine work of art.
Ted Teisler is a true RC legend from the 70s.
His vision of a world full flying lawn mowers was truly unique! So if your looking to build some thing that will be the center of attention at the flying field, or, you just want to freak out a school bus of kids and a few dozen motorist. Then this is the plan for you! ..... Just think about flying this IFO at Roswell, New Mexico, or, close to the next UFO convention that comes to town.... Personally, I plan to fly mine near Mc Dill Air Force Base in Tampa.... I can hear the pilot radioing into base now. "Base, I got a flying lawn mower bogey closing in on me fast. Permission to fire"..... Base "Negative. I repeat negative, permission to fire is denied Captain. Now you get your arse back here right now!" .......... Base Commander to his aid. "Lets get 2 MPs down there to the Captains hanger and have them escort him over to the psyche ward." ...... Aid. "Sir,Yes Sir. I'll make sure he gets the same medical attention as the other 2 pilots are receiving" LOL ,,,, I am so bad,,,,,,, that I must be,,,, B-B-B-B-Bad to the bone.
HISTORY of the plan. I took in the original 1975 plan in a trade from Canada. It was very fragile and brown and showing its age..... It was so beaten up, and missing corners, that it appeared to have had just fought 7 rounds with Mike Tyson! I immediately provided first aid to the plan and got it stabilized. Lucky for me, the plan had "good ink" and was still restorable.
